Website online launch event

On the 28th June 2022 we launched the SCI Healthcare transitions website. In this webinar we introduce the SCI healthcare transition website which was developed in collaboration with young people with SCI and their parents/caregivers to help support them in their move from the paediatric to adult healthcare services. We hear from a young person with SCI and a parent that helped co-produce the website, from Dean Pan a paediatric peer support mentor who features on the website and from Jodie Thompson an experienced clinical nurse consultant who spoke to the importance of supporting young people during what can be a challenging and daunting time. Finally, Emily Bray, the project lead, provides a guide to the features of the website. Click here to watch.
